Usually, fleet combat occurs in [Attack] mission. If you want to take resource in other planets, you should win the combat


1. Combat Mechanism 

A combat is composed of 6 round fight

In each round, each and every one of ship weapons and defense turrets fires simultaneously and independently

2. Tiers & Weapon Type

There are 6 tiers of ships and defense turrets

There are 8 kinds of weapon

Note that a warship can be equipped with multiple numbers of weapons, and their weapon types can be different

A defense turret is equipped with one cannon, of which type is apparent in its name

3. Splash Damage

3 kinds of weapons can deal splash damage which means one shot can damage multiple numbers of targets

Cannons of one type can also vary in splash range, not to mention attack power

Splash range are specified in ship info or defense turret info

If splash range is 5, it hits 11 targets :  central target + 5 left + 5 right


4. Combat Result 

If any of two sides is destroyed completely, the combat ends and the destroyed side lose

If none of the two sides is destroyed completely after 6 round, the combat draws

If attacker wins, surviving ships take resource in the planet

So, attacker fleet must have sufficient resource capacity, usually by including Transporters in the attack fleet

The amount of resource you can take is as follows :

70% of destroyed ships of both sides are left in space as debris

Note that Xion has nothing to do with debris

It is the energy source for operating ships, and if a ship of Xion is destroyed, Xion will be available again in Xion Laboratory

 


5. Honor Point

6. Protection Shield 

Protection Shield will be activated when planets were attacked by players

It will protect your planet from [Attack] mission but not from [Occupation] mission

  1. When it is expired 
  2. When you conduct offensive missions

7. Occupation Shield

When an enemy is in On-site operation at one of your colonies, Occupation Shields are given to the other colonies of yours. So, enemies cannot occupy 2 or more colonies of yours at the same time

If the On-site operation ends in any way, Occupation Shield disappears.
